Linda Colleen Wolford, 59, of Montgomery, Texas passed away January 26, 2025. She was born on September 27, 1965 in Marion, Indiana. She was a dedicated caregiver and shared her kind spirit and warm smile with everyone she met. Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, going on trips with her family and relaxing evenings on the lake surrounded by good friends. She received her LVN from Lee College and had a career in nursing.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Shorten of Marion, Indiana; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and James McClenny of Montgomery; grandchildren, Alivia and Conner McClenny; fiancé, Darrell Schneider and daughters Kamryn and Shaley Schneider; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry Shorten, Steve and Sindi Shorten, and Dave Shorten, all of Indiana; cousins and friends.
A visitation for Linda will be held, Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. with services to follow starting at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
Funeral reception and lantern release on the lake to follow at her condo located at 801 River Road Building “C” 109, Montgomery, Texas 77356 starting at 5:00 p.m.
Linda will be laid to rest next to her son Bradley in Marion, Indiana.
