Mrs. Loretta I. Palmer

She was born to Mary and Herman Standlee on September 6, 1944. While attending high school she met and married the love of her life Bill Palmer. They spent 60 years of wedded bliss together. They had three daughters, Christina Davis, Elois Palmer and Samantha Leahy. She enjoyed spending time with her 7 grandchildren, Vince, Matthew, Krystal, Reagan, Brynn, Collin and Sidney. She and Bill have 9 great grandchildren who they adore.

Loretta was a wonderful mother who taught her daughters the value of hard work, prayer and compassion for others. She loved arranging flowers and creating beautiful designs. She was the sweetest most beautiful woman who loved sharing with friends and family alike. She was best known for her famous fried chicken and German Chocolate cake. She will greatly be missed by all that loved her.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 9 - 11am. A funeral service will be held immediately after at 11am at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. Burial will be held at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038 on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 9:30am.
