November 3, 2014 – October 20, 2024
Marie Alonso 54 was born on November 14, 1969, in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico passed away in a tragic helicopter crash in Houston, Texas on October 20, 2024. Marie’s life ended alongside her son Dylon Maximus Lerma, 9, and Dylon’s father.
Marie, a forever young soul full of love and light. Quality time with her family was what she valued most and becoming a mother was her greatest achievement. Her son Dylon Maximus Lerma was the love of her life, her gift from heaven as she called him.
Marie’s fashion style was simply elegant, young, and stylish. She had a collection of hats that she wore with every outfit to protect her face from the sun. She always said that she was born in the wrong century because of her fashion style. She loved biking, taking photos, videos, music, dancing, dressing up for every holiday, spending time with family and friends, and most of all planning activities that her son would enjoy. She was lighthearted and had a unique sense of humor. She attended church every Sunday with her son and mother. Marie was full of life and embraced a health-conscious lifestyle so much that she set her alarm to get up at 5:11 am to exercise for 2 hours, 7 days a week.
Marie is survived by her mother Maria Pilar Gonzalez Alonso, and siblings Maricela A. Emery, Francisco Alonso, Jose Luis Alonso, cousins, nephews, uncles, aunts, and every person that knew her.
Dylon Maximus Lerma, 9, was born on November 3, 2014, in Houston, Texas. He passed away in a tragic helicopter crash in Houston, Texas on October 20, 2024, alongside his parents.
Dylon Maximus Lerma, bright and imaginative child, wise beyond his short 9 years. He had a passion for climbing, drawing, and creating comics, outdoor activities with his siblings, family, and parents. Dylon was full of just the same love and light, blessed to have two loving coparents, and as tragic as it may be, there is some comfort that they are all together in the Lord’s presence.
Dylon is survived by his grandmothers Maria Pilar Gonzalez Alonso and Oralia Zuniga, cousins, uncles, and everyone that knew him.
Their memories and spirit will live on in the hearts of their family and friends.
A funeral mass will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, 8715 Kuykendahl Rd, Spring, TX 77382, on Thursday November 7, 2024 at 1:00PM.
