Marilyn was born Marilyn Gladys Bedell on September 6, 1949 to Gladys and Walter Bedell in Jersey City, NJ. She is preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Bedell, mother, Gladys; brother in laws, Jay Lynch and Jimmy Foley.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Kevin Lawrence Loughlin, sons; Shawn Patrick and wife Kasi, Brandon Kyle and wife Stephanie; daughter Shannon Michelle Johnston and her husband Brent; grandchildren Chance Patrick, Cailyn Rae, Luke Patrick Loughlin, Lauren Grace, Olivia Maria Johnston; sisters, Carol Hartman and husband George, Debbie Lynch, Cheryl Foley, Wendy Campanelli and husband John; brothers, Robert Bedell and wife Annette, Keith and wife Joni, Roger and Jason; brother in laws, Bruce Loughlin and wife Rosemarie, David Loughlin and wife Susan and Brian Loughlin and wife Patricia and 11 nephews and 7 nieces.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital for caring for their beloved Marilyn.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 10th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. On Tuesday March 11th a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow the service.
In lieu of floral tributes the family asks that you consider memorial contributions in Marilyn’s name to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center or St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital.
