From the time he was a child, all the way through adulthood, he was on a mission - to make the world laugh.
There are words that unquestionably describe him:
A Family-Man.
A Passionate Soul.
A Goofy Brother.
A Romantic.
Un fastidioso.
Un chistoso.
A hot mess.
A beautiful laugh.
A warm smile.
He grew up in South Houston, and during those years, he made many, many friends that forever remember him as a best friend. But his friends were not only in South Houston. Mario never met a stranger. He could spark a conversation with anyone, about anything, and always, those people were left smiling.
He was a hard worker. He built rigs in the Houston heat. He travelled far and wide. He did it all for his wife and kids. And while he was there, he sent the funniest, stupidest, absolute best text messages, making us laugh, pranking us, sharing with us the things he saw.
It was always important to him that his family was a part of everything he did.
He was a father to MyKayla & Iker… a Superdad. He could build anything. Fix anything. Fight any monster. Win every fight. And when he didn’t win a fight, he could always teach his kids a lesson about losing the right way. Nothing was wasted with Mario. Everything could be turned into a celebration.
Mario was a husband. The best husband.
A best friend.
A hero.
He was a dance at midnight.
He was a morning sunrise.
He was king proud of his queen.
He was irreplaceable.
One of a kind.
Mario was a gift to this world. He was given to us to remind us that life is about living and not about stressing. He was a medicine to our sick hearts, and he healed us with his life. Because of him, we know how to laugh even when things are hard. That’s what he did for us. It’s what he taught us to do.
He made us strong.
He brought us together.
He taught us LOVE of life.
We await the day when we see you again, Brother.
We are proud of you.
We love you.
We thank you.

Rest In Peace.
