Mark James Morse

Mark James Morse, age 57, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on Friday March 2, 2018. Mark was born in Chicago on April 10, 1960. He attended George Washington High School. Mark graduated in 1977 and joined the Air Force.

He was a partner in a technology business in Texas as well as an avid golfer, Chicago sports fan and wine enthusiast. Mark enjoyed movies, listening to music and attending concerts. He loved traveling especially to see his friends in California, North Carolina and London and was passionate about spending time with family and friends.

Mark is preceded in death by his father James Morse; grandparents; Irene and Barney Zielinski.

He is survived by his mother; Leone Morse, brother Michael (Deborah) Morse, sister; Kathy (Neal) Klaeser, nephews; Steven (Kelli) Morse, Zack Klaeser, great-nephew; Carter Morse, great-niece Caroline Morse, great-aunt; Florence Wiertick and devote friend and business partner; Liz Conerly as well as many cherished friends and relatives across the country.

A Memorial service will be at Opyts Funeral Home located at 13350 S. Baltimore Avenue, Chicago, IL on March 9, 2018 from 5-8pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Florian Church located at 13145 S. Houston Avenue, Chicago, IL at 9:30am on March 10, 2018.
