I'm so glad I was able to attend the memorial for Marley. She was such a sweet friend to me. Ill never forget the great memories we had being roommates and even before that. She was a wild loving presence in my life and I'm grateful to have know her. Rest in peace little leo.

Hug you children..Tell your family and friends, they are loved. It's hard enough to lose a loved one but, you should never have to say "Goodbye" to your child. Having to be strong for my Daughter Morgan, losing her Best friend was hard enough.. but, seeing The Chapla Family and the exhaustion, pain and the tears they have been crying and crying for days, was heartbreaking. I can't put myself in their shoes. I want to take away their pain. I want this to be a horrible dream we all wake up from. This family is built with a strong foundation.. and Marley was a true example of that. We will always love Marley. I couldn't have asked for a better person to come into my Daughter's life.. Her smile was infectious..she was fulfilling her dream of helping others and becoming a Nurse. We shared a love for Pugs. She left such a positive impact on our lives. Marley might not be physically here but her light will never burn out.

You were one of my best friends in high school. From going on sonic runs to napping the day away at my house or yours, we shared memories that I will always cherish. I will remember your obsession with Tito, the way you threw your head back when you would let out an explosive laugh, and our frequent talks about books we were currently reading. My biggest regret is not keeping in better contact while we were away at school but I will always admire the way you lived your life with nothing but love and kindness in your heart. 
You took a little bit of shine and luster out of this world when you left. Rest easy, Marley.

Marley, I am at a loss of words. I hadn't seen you in a long while but boy that did not stop me from always looking at your instagram or Facebook. You were so beautiful, so amazing. I regret losing touch with you because growing up you always knew how to cheer me up and keep me laughing, and I hope I did the same for you. I will keep your family in my thoughts. I hope you are doing well wherever you may be. This isn't goodbye only see you later. So I hope we cross paths once again sweet little angel❤

Marley, this is still so unreal. Not you, I just keep begging god to wake me up from this dream. All I want to do is call you. you were one the most beautiful  people I knew inside and out. Freshman year when I came to SFA, I didn't know anyone and then I found an amazing group of girls to be friends with and you were one of them. We basically lived together freshman year, I was with you 24/7, you were my bestfriend. You were always so kind to everyone, no matter who they were or what they had done to you in the past, you always took the higher road with everything. That is something you taught me that I will never forget. You were an amazing athlete and always encouraged me to go running with you (although I could never keep up with you). We shared our love of animals and always took the pups out to places. Although we grew apart within the last year, we kept in touch and when we did hangout we would stay together for days. I'm so thankful that you stayed with me at Tays over winter break and I'm so thankful that I was able to help you move out of your apartment to go to nursing school. I can't put into words everything I would want to tell you if I had the chance to before you left us. I will never understand why this happened. But I know you're probably looking down on me, telling me to stop crying or crying with me because when I cried you always cried with me. That's the type of person you were. I hope you're in heaven running through the fields with lots of pups, a 40 in your hand (bc anyone that knew Marley knew she loved malt liquor), and a book in the other. 

I'll never forget the time when Marley, Julia, and I were watching the guys apartment while they went out and Marley forgot to put water in her ramen and we all looked at eachother and said "what's that smell?" (The ramen was on fire)
& I'll also never forget the time that your sister Kelcie was in town and you backed into a pole or something and came up to my work to the Valvoline next door and I'm watching you through the drive thru window and you're throwing yourself at your sisters car trying to get the small dent out all while laughing so hard you were almost in tears.

I am so sorry for your loss and my heart is with your family. I met her through Phil at S.F.A. and remember her as afun, happy person. I'm heartbroken for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Marley, we only hangout a few times in our high school days but you were a dear friend to my friend Rozalynn as well as to many others that I know. You always had a beautiful smile on your face and I know you had a kind soul. Your sister Kelcie and I were sports medicine trainers together and our lives crossed paths many times. Rest in Peace Marley you will be missed dearly. <3

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. It's selfish to the ones you love because I was the last to see you but I regret that it wasn't enough because we had a future together. Didn't think I had it in me to move foward from this because you left the same day my sister did three years ago, But I know the two of you are together watching over me and pointing me the right direction to once be with you again and for good. Before you left my house I got a hug, kiss and an I love you and I will forever cherish that. No matter how rocky we were, we were always meant to be together and will always be drawn back to each other. I love you angel and nothing will ever change that. Rest In Peace my beautiful girl, watch over me and have fun with my sister. I love you and will forever.

Times like this you have to trust that there is a higher plan, a better place, a need for such a beautiful person to be taken so early in life. Grief is owned by those who are here.....but imagine the wonders, the joys, the beauty now opened for her to be a part of.  Her wings are strong, she will fly and she will wait with patience as she watches over those whose grief shows the massive love that is all they have left to give......with great grief comes great love.  The kind of love Marley has. Rest in the arms of love and in peace baby girl.

Oh man, my deepest condolences to y'all. She use to come into my gas station job all the time & we would speak to each other or I would see her at her job. She's so full of life & always will be. Blessings, hugs and kisses.

My deepest, sweetest condolences to the Chapla family. I never had the privilege of meeting you Marley but hearing Kelcie talk about you, I feel like I knew you. You seem to have been a bright addition in this world and the world got just a bit dimmer and because of this my heart hurts. Your memory is always going to be alive yesterday, today and tomorrow. Rest peacefully.

Marley I didn't get the opportunity to meet you but I know that if you were anything like your sister you're truly an angel. You will be missed greatly by many and I pray for you and your family every day. Rest easy gorgeous.

Dear Troy, Kelly, Zach and Kelcie,  We are all saddened and shocked at this tradegy that has happened to you.  Words cannot take away the pain you have but take comfort in knowing that friends from near and far are here with you.  I remember getting the girls back and forth to golf practice and tournaments and enjoying the idol chat about the game.  For a reason we will not know, God has called Marley to be a special angel for him and do his work.  We wish you find comfort in knowing we care and peace in the journey ahead.

To marleys family & closest of friends. I am truly sorry for your loss. Not only to you, but to this world. For all the people who never got to meet such a beautiful soul. I wasn't as close of a friend to Marley as I wish I could have been. But I knew her, as being a very special person. She was kind, gorgeous, & absolutely unique. I've never met a person as beautiful inside and out. These are the things that make me question our world and God. I will never understand how someone so great could be taken so early. My prayers are with the chapla family in this time of grieve and pain. Although I did not personally know Marley I was very close with people who were friends with Kelcie and Marley. We all went to the same high school together. Another angel taken from us way too soon. This is the time when friends and family are needed the most to be closest to each other. I am so sorry for Marley and for your pain. I only knew her a little bit when we had Anatomy together in High School. She was part of our group table and I remember her being so exciting and kind. Even though it was a relatively short time I knew her, she brought a good experience each day.

I'm so very sorry knew Marley since she was little, my son Hunter grew up with her. I remember her at Hailey and thru Jr High, Orchestra and birthday parties.. My deepest condolences, I was so shocked when I heard. Truly sad...  Still can see young elementary face a Hailey Elementary.. and Katie house... and Orchestra concerts... I'm so sadden....

Thank you for sharing so many new experiences with me, I'm so thankfull I got to meet you and know you for the time that I did.

Although I did not know your lovely daughter and sister, I wanted to let you know that there are so many of us who have read her story and are genuinely extending our deepest sympathy to you all at this time.

Marley was one of the funniest, quirkiest, unique individuals I've ever crossed paths with. Anywhere she was, smiles and laughter followed. She was a very passionate person, in everything she said and did. She definitely set the bar in how to treat people with kindness. This situation has me tore up for her many, many friends, for her family she was so proud of and adored whole heartedly and for the loves she left behind. may she Rest In Peace and may we all carry her kind spirit with us in all we do. Look for her and you'll find her with in you and all around you. she was great at finding happiness in small things, in nature and in people. Emulate her spirit and it won't have been in vain.

I saw you Monday afternoon with that sweet  smile you always had, I hardly knew you but you made such an impact on so many people around me. I pray you watch over them sweet girl and rest easy.

There are so many things to be said, I don't know where to begin.. Marley was one of the sweetest, strongest people I have ever met and she made a huge impact on my life. Her laugh was contagious, her spirit free. She loved everyone that she crossed paths with and treated them as if they were old friends, even if they had only met. She taught me the true meaning of love, both giving and receiving. She taught me to always do everything to the fullest if it was important and to live life to the fullest. She will forever hold her own place in my heart, as well as all everyone else's.

Marley, I never met you. I never laughed with you. Your sister Kelcie was and is a very important person in my life. She told me so many incredible things about you. You were such a bright part of her life and she loved you so much. I wish I met you, I truly do. We lost such a bright star. Rest easy.

I know we hadn't kept in touch after graduation but I wanted to thank you for being one of my first friends after I moved to the Woodlands. Thank you for making junior high that much more bareable. Thank you for making me laugh and being so nice and genuine to me when you didn't have to. I know we were never close in high school but I still considered you a great friend. You and your smiley will deeply be missed. Thank you for being my friend.

Even as I'm typing this, it still doesn't feel real. I'm still going to text you at least a hundred more times, not accepting that I'll never get a response. I'm so thankful that I had the priveledge of being so close with you. Our time together wasn't enough, and your time here wasn't enough, and it never will be. You always made sure those you loved knew what they meant to you. You constantly reminded us that you love us. And I'm so thankful for that. It doesn't make it any easier, however. But I know you don't want us all the be hurting as deep as we are - but you were our sunshine. I can feel you everywhere, I know you are here with me. How could I ever put into words what you mean to me? How much I love you? How much you've impacted countless lives? Thank you for some of the best times of my life. Thank you for being such a beautiful soul, with a beautiful heart. Thank you for all the memories you've given me - I will carry them in my heart until we meet again. I love you so much. I know you know that. And I know you love me too. I hope you're happy. I will never stop loving you Marley Bug.

Marley, I want to start off by saying how much I love you and your Infectious laughter. In high school I didn't have a ton of girl friends, and the ones I did have I cherish tremendously. You are one of them. Whether it was just hanging out in one of our cars talking and laughing or going to a party together, there was never a dull moment. I feel like no message will suffice, but I do know this: you have impacted so many lives with your positive energy and radiating smile. You made each life you touched that much better, and you will be so immensely missed. I love you so much Marley. Rest In Peace.
