Nicole is lovingly remembered for her fighting spirit and devotion to family. The day her son, Ayden, was born was the best day of her life. As she wrote to Ayden on his 19th birthday, “your smile was enough to make me realize what happiness truly is.” Nicole dedicated her life to her son’s safety, happiness, growth, and future.
Nicole was always generous to family, friends, animals, and even strangers. She gave of her resources, time, expertise, and most importantly love. Nicole had great empathy for the marginalized, especially animals in need. For the past 25 years, she worked as a dog trainer and was involved in rescuing and fostering vulnerable dogs.
Among the many things that filled Nicole with joy were hiking Mount Bonnell in Austin, exploring restaurants and trying new foods, horseback riding, and family vacations in Florida. One could always count on Nicole to recommend the best shows, fashion trends, and health hacks.
