Norma Jeanne Hare, age 82, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Tuesday morning, September 21, 2010. She was born June 18, 1928 in Witcherville, AK to the late Cheatham Lafayette and Katie Lillian Reding. Norma is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 ½ years, James Earl Hare, Jr.; daughters Sue Fussell and husband Mike of Humble, TX; Pamela Shappell Blair and the late Eddie Blair of Conroe, TX; James Hare and wife Martha of Sommerville, TX; granddaughters Kimberly Axtel and husband Jay, Tracy Peck and husband Dave, Michelle Gann and Mary Givons, Wendy Belford and husband Jake and Katy “Scout” Hare; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Norma’s children always thought of her as The Proverbs 31 woman because they rose up and called her blessed. Her greatest delight was her husband Earl. She said he was her very best friend! She always said God matched them together because she met him in church. Norma was a member of Louetta Road Baptist Church in Spring, TX.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 23, 2010 and from 9:00 A.M. until service time, Friday, September 24, 2010. Funeral Services are set for 10:00 A.M. Visitation and service will be held in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
