Patricia F. Curtis

She attended high school in Hawaii and was there with her family when Pearl Harbor was bombed on December 7, 1941. She moved back to United States and finished high school in Galveston, Texas. Patricia married Dr. George E. Glover, Jr. and was a homemaker, raising 4 daughters in Victoria, Texas.

Patricia was involved in volunteer work including serving at Hope Development School. She moved to Houston and worked as a teacher's aide for Pre-K students at Hunter Creek Elementary School.

She was married to Stanley Curtis on November 10, 2000. Together they attended First United Methodist Church of The Woodlands. Patricia loved children, painting, animals, and writing poetry.

Patricia was proceeded in death by her parents, Donald M. Forney and Winefred M. Forney; sister Jeanne Smith; brother Donald Forney Jr., and daughter, Geneva Smith.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Hopewood husband John Hopwood of Austin, daughter, Sherry Culberson husband Jay Culberson of The Woodlands, daughter Alisa Jones husband Phillip Jones of The Woodlands; step-daughter Sherri Coady husband Larry Coady of Scottsdale, Arizona; step-son Ed Curtis of Portland, Oregon; niece Nan Conard husband Joe Conard of Troy, Ohio.

Patricia was a beloved grandmother to 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at 11am, July 20, 2021 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home Chapel, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX.
