He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 11, 1950.
Paul graduated from Levittown Memorial High School and received a Degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, in Worcester Massachusetts.
He was married to Sandy Matranga on May 1, 1983.
Paul was Vice President of Quality for Vitesse Semiconductors, in Camarillo, California. Prior to that, he worked for Intel and General Instruments
He was a member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, and had a passion for Bridge, reading, telling jokes, and performing magic tricks. His wife called him the 'World's Cheapest Magician'. He could entertain a room with just a rubber band, a napkin, a crumpled piece of paper and a quarter.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Sandy Matranga.
He is survived by his sister Marguerite Anderson, and her husband Ken, his brother Michael Matranga and his wife Georganne and their son and daughter, Nephew John Anderson and his wife Rochelle and their two daughters, Niece Lisa Anderson and her daughter.
