

Pete was born in Suffern, New York o February 11, 1967. He was married to Carolyn Phinny Haviland on September 9, 2000.
Pete had many interests and so many passions that he spent his time pursuing. He loved helping people thus being a licensed hypnotherapist and licensed private investigator. As a PI, he helped bring home over 200 missing children and as a hypnotherapist, he assisted many people with PTSD and other ailments and issues. He also enjoyed the study and practice of parapsychology and wrote and co-wrote many published books.
He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Carolyn and beautiful baby Zeus, his beloved Great Dane, his mom and biggest champion, Inez Mele Haviland, his sister, Julie Haviland, her husband, Stephen Tolbert and his nephew and “little man”, Zachary James Tolbert, his younger brother, Brandon Haviland and wife Mandy and their son, Jayden, his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law and many friends throughout the United States. He is preceded in death by his father, Clements James Haviland, his maternal and paternal grandparents and may pets (mostly rescues).
In lieu of flowers, Pete would be honored if you would make a donation to your local pet rescue or animal shelter or to a charity close to you in his name.
A celebration of life will be held at Forest Park, The Woodlands at 2pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
