Rick Manuel Flores, of Spring TX, left to be in the loving arms of the Lord on May 27th, 2023 at the age of 52. Rick was born in Tecate, Mexico on 05/29/1970, and spent his first 37 years of life in California. He was married to his high school sweetheart Rosalie Flores for 36 years and had 3 children. He relocated his family to Texas and continued another chapter in the Lone Star State. Rick was a Business Development manager and worked in Oil and Gas for over 25 years. He was a devout Christian, loved his family as well as extended church family. He was always there to extend a gracious heart to those in need, the lonely and fatherless.
His passions in life were taking rides in his classic cars with his wife, hunting trips , spoiling his grandkids and being the best example of a husband and father. He especially loved being a husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, brother and mentor. He was affectionately known as “Papa” by his grandchildren. He was a man that wore many hats, well respected and He always made an impact on anyone he crossed paths with. His smile would light up any room and his laugh was contagious.
Rick is survived by his wife, Rosalie; Daughter, Vanessa (Michael) ; Daughter, Mercedes; and Son Ricky (Jenny) as well as eight grandchildren: Gianna, Gabriel, Audrianna, Julian, Brielle, Savannah and Olivia. He is also survived by 6 siblings: sister, Isabel Corona; sister, Rosalva Jimenez; sister, Carmen Estrada; brother, Sergio Flores; sister, Veronica Delgado and sister, Leticia Gallardo.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Evaristo Flores; Mother, Conchita Flores; brother, Pedro Flores; brother Jorge Flores; brother, Cesar Flores and sister Lupe Harrison.
Rick will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
A visitation for Rick will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
