Shaun Finley, 21, of The Woodlands, TX passed away on May 12, 2010. Shaun was born August 11, 1988 in Houston, TX to Barbara Finley and Dwayne Finley. He is survived by his mother Barbara Finley; father Dwayne Finley and wife Jeanette; sister Kristina Finley; brother Bryne Finley; paternal grandmother Mary Finley & Arden Gollnick; uncle & aunt Bob & Cindy Brown; cousins Robby & Sarah Brown along with numerous friends.
Shaun was a 2007 graduate Oak Ridge High School where he was a member of the baseball team. Baseball has a huge part of Shaun’s life from Little League all the way through high school. In 2001, he was on the 12 year old Orwall Little League Championship that went on to the semi-finals of the Little League World Championship. Shaun had an infectious laugh that aided in his many friendships that he had. Shaun was well-loved by his family and friends. He was an outgoing popular athlete who could always make you laugh. Whenever you needed to find Shaun, all you had to do was look in the garage and there he would be working on his car.
The family will receive friends at The Woodlands United Methodist Church 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive, Spring, TX 77380 on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 10 A.M. – 12 P.M.
A celebration of life is set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 15, 2010 at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
