Snowden and I became friends during the time he spent in Detroit. While his original home was Kentucky, he became a true Texan while living in Houston. I recall taking Snowden and his wife camping for a week end while in Detroit...lots of fun and a totally new experience for them.

Snowden and I worked for Chrysler Financial for a long time. My memories of Snowden are probably much the same as those of other co-workers. He was very professional, efficient, productive and well liked by his customers and employees.  And, most of all, he was a gentleman.  The world is a lesser place without him.  He will be missed.

I’ve never met a man like Snowden. He was a privilege to work for and it was my honor to speak at his retirement.  He never panicked. He was never drawn into anger, and he was a legend in his business.  He found value in the people who worked with him. Anyone was welcome into his circle. We had numerous conversations about anything and everything. I was very proud to work for him. He was one of a kind, and I was blessed to know him. 

We met Snowden and Alma in 1978 when we joined The Woodland Stars  square dance club.  They were one of the founding couples of that club, which continues to this day.  Snowden and Alma are truly fine persons as well as excellent square dancers.  That club became the basis for our many friends and was the source of fun and great times for us all.  We will miss Snowden and offer our condolences to his spouse, Alma and son, Michael.

Showden was a first cousin to me.  He was a fine person!

I'm sorry to learn of Snowden's passing.  We worked together in the Retail Credit Department, for Dave Baringer, in the Book Building in the early days of Chrysler Financial.  We got to see each other several times later at various company events.  Great guy and always a good golf story.  My best to your family.  Rick

Snowden was such a wonderful person.  A person that exemplified the word  "class".  I was honored to know him and be apart of his large family.  Prayers for Alma and Michael.

Hi Mary. It has been a long time since you guys went camping with us during our time in Detroit. Might have been your first and last time camping. Was sorry to hear about Snowden's passing...a good guy that I have never forgotten. I know he loved Houston and got his wish to return.

Snowden was the perfect example of a mentor, friend and a colleague. He taught me so much over the years. I will never forget the refreshing smile we would see every morning...God speed and May his memory be eternal.🙏

Snowden was the consummate professional.  He was a great business man and a gentle and kind leader.  When I think of all the memorable leaders during my career, Snowden is clearly on the top of my list.   God bless this dear family.   

So sorry for your loss.  I worked with Snowden in the Atlanta Branch and always thought he was a really nice guy and always smiling.  Prayers for peace and comfort for everyone.

I worked with Snowden at Chrysler Financial at the Houston Branch and at Spring Valley Branch when it open and he became the first branch manager there.  It's been over 35 years since I worked with him, but it only feels like yesterday.  I really did enjoy working with him even if was only for short time.  Rest in peace Snowden.

Snowden was a gentleman & leader. He meant so much to us who knew him from Chrysler Financial. I have so many fond memories of him. Rest In Peace, Snowden. You were an inspiration. 

I knew Snowden for over 50 yeas and played golf with  him  for 49 years .he was a true friend  and gentleman.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Nantz and Mike. I worked for Mr. Nantz in the Houston office which it was a pleasure to work for and with him. He was the only person I knew who could make golf sound interesting! 

I worked at Chrysler Financial  for many years under the leadership of Snowden . He was a great leader and a gentleman. My condolences to the family
