November 16, 1947 – March 1, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Victoria Sabal Mayuman, who left this world on March 1, 2025, at the age of 77.
Born in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, Victoria pursued her passion for healthcare, earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Centro Escolar University in the 1970s. Her dedication to her profession was evident early on when she achieved an impressive 90% on her board exam.
On September 25, 1986, Victoria married Alfredo Madrono Mayuman Jr. in North Dakota. She later moved to New York before settling in Texas in the 1990s, where she built a fulfilling life surrounded by family, faith, and service.
Victoria dedicated most of her career to pharmacy, serving her community with care and commitment. A devoted Christian and Catholic, she was a long-time member of Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in The Woodlands, TX. Her faith was not just a part of her life—it was her guiding light.
She had a passion for making rosaries, a labor of love she carried out every year, handcrafting thousands of them to donate to churches both in the U.S. and the Philippines. This selfless act was her way of spreading faith and comfort to others.
Victoria also found joy in cooking, creating delicious meals for family and friends, bringing people together through food and tradition. She and her husband shared a love for travel, exploring the world together and embracing new cultures, making lifelong memories in every corner of the globe.
Victoria was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Gerardo Sabal Sr. and Asuncion Sabal. She is survived by her loving husband, Alfredo Madrono Mayuman, and her devoted son, Andy Dao.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in memory of Victoria. You can donate here:
