High Point - Christie Diane Haynes, aged 69, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, at High Point Regional Hospital. Born on March 4, 1956, in Guilford County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Gilmer and Jewel Haynes.
Christie was a graduate of East Davidson High School. She pursued her higher education at Wake Forest, where she obtained her law degree. Following a distinguished career, she retired from Guilford County.
Christie's legacy of love and friendship survives through her cousins, Janet Carter (Bobby), Phil Scarboro (Denise), Travis Sexton, Thomas Sexton, Lori Fisher (Robert), Lisa Noah (Rick), and many others. She also leaves behind two special friends, Lon Cecil and Jane Moore.
A Celebration of Life will be held in January 2026, upon which further details will be shared.
