Connie Sue Caudell Kindley

Connie Sue Caudell Kindley, 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 16, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Connie was born on May 23, 1953 in Smyth County, VA to Homer Caudell and Maxine Hayden Bush. She was a member of Hughes Grove Baptist Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Connie also enjoyed working in her flowers, shopping, going to church, and traveling.

In addition to her father, Connie was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Earl Caudell.

She is survived by her mother, Maxine Hayden Bush of Trinity; her husband, Mike Kindley of the home; daughter, Kathy Calhoun and husband Roger; son, Christopher Boyd and wife Leah; nine grandchildren; brothers, Allen Caudell and wife Sharon, Danny Caudell and wife Pamela, and Eddie Caudell and wife Joyce; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at 2 pm Monday, Dec. 19 at Hughes Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Hill and Rev. Tony Sluss officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 2 pm prior to the service at the church.
