Donovan Lloyd Miller

THOMASVILLE – On May 22, 2021, our beloved son, Donovan Lloyd Miller, went home to walk with Jesus. Lloyd was born on March 31, 1997, to Laura Green Lambert and Charles Albert Miller II. He was the light of his mother and stepfather Tim Lambert’s life.

Lloyd was born in Virginia Beach, VA, but lived in Reston, VA, and later Thomasville, NC. Lloyd had a passion for sports as a young child playing baseball, basketball and football. After becoming an adult, his interest shifted to excitement and thrill. This is the reason he took up the profession of tree cutting. He loved the challenge and knowledge he gained. Lloyd loved his family immensely and was a very caring soul.

Lloyd is survived by his mother Laura Lambert and stepfather Tim Lambert; father Charles Albert Miller, II; CJ and Tiffany McGuier; one sister Virginia Ashlee Miller of Pensacola, FL; one brother Charles Albert Miller, III and wife Tiffany of Austin, TX; grandparents Danny and Bonnie Lambert as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. His grandparents Lois Foley, Jack (Janice) Norman, David (Edith) Miller, preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 18 Randolph Street, Thomasville, NC 27360, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, 401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360.

The family will greet friends prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 pm at the funeral home.
