Eli Drake Kersey, age 2, passed away July 17, 2014.
Eli was born on October 25, 2011 in Davidson County to Roger Scott and Debra Ann Kersey. He attended Love of God Baptist Church. Eli was and is a perfect child, but now he is an angel with his Heavenly Father. Eli was preceded in death by his PaPaw Earl Lee Nobles.
Surviving are his parents, Scott and Debra Kersey of Lexington; brother, Mason Daniel Tate, and sister, Megan Danielle Tate, both of Asheboro; grandmother, Luvenia Nobles of Thomasville; grandparents, Ray Meyer and his wife Wanda of San Antonio, TX; and grandfather, Sam Kersey of South Carolina. Eli is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of Eli’s life will be held at 11 am Friday in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street. Eli will be laid to rest next to his PaPaw at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
