Hazel Myers Gamble Laws, 95, formerly of Holly Grove Rd., went to her heavenly home Friday evening at Piedmont Crossing.
Hazel was born in Davidson County, December 23, 1921, a daughter of the late Curtis Myers and Pearlie Trotter Myers. She was a graduate of Fairgrove High School and a member of Fairgrove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert Wade Gamble and Clyde Thomas Laws; four sisters, Mattie Myers, Dorothy Elliott, Elsie Hughes and Geneva Perry; two brothers, William (Bill) Myers and Albert Myers.
Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth Hughes; a granddaughter, Janet Raby and husband Joe; a great-grandson, Robert Raby; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Fairgrove United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. Hulon Pait. The family will receive friends at Thomasville Funeral Home Monday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County.
