“Bo” was a very hard working family man that always wanted to make sure his wife, daughter, and grandchildren were well taken care of to the best of his ability. His working years, age 17 to 65, were spent at Superior Wood Products of Thomasville NC. He began as a sander and retired as sanding supervisor. If Bo was not at work, you could guarantee that he would be outside working in the yard, restoring old antique cub cadets or woodworking. Hobbies that he enjoyed over the years included participating in tractor pulls, fishing, hunting, and restoring old lawn tractors. There was rarely a time where you would find him relaxing in the house.
Surviving are his wife, Dreama B. Hancock; daughter, Amy Michelle Bowman and husband Frankie Jr.; one brother, Robert Hancock; and two sisters, Vickey Helms and husband Junior, and Ann Kinley and husband Raymond; two grandchildren, Courtney Kennedy and husband Zach, and Frankie Leon Bowman III; and his best friend, Roger Kindley. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Willie and Wayne Hancock; two sisters, Nancy Hancock and Brenda Wray, preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park, 401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360 on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Hillis Burton and Rev. Tim Burton officiating.
Flowers may be sent to the home of Dreama B. Hancock.
