Joe was born in Puyallup, Washington, August 15, 1963, a son of Joe Boyd Turbyfill, Sr. and Evonne Turbyfill. He graduated from Trinity High School, received an associates degree from Guilford Technical Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree from High Point University. Joe was a computer specialist, most recently with Old Dominion Freight Lines. He enjoyed trivia, movies, Star Trek and R/C airplanes. Joe loved being with his family and singing.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Annette Miller Turbyfill; two sons, Jared Lee Turbyfill and his wife Eilzabeth Lee Harwell and Justin Allen Turbyfill and his companion Dakotah Moore; his parents; a brother, James Turbyfill and his wife Rhonda; and a nephew, Evan Grey Turbyfill.
A graveside service will be held 12 noon Monday, March 1, 2021 at Holly Hill Memorial Park by Pastor Bob Ferguson. Friends may pay their respects from 1 until 4 p.m. on Sunday at Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home-Thomasville
