To the Thornton family:  My family and I just want to let you know that we have not forgotten about you or Kate.  We continue to pray for all of you. Especially since the first "anniversary" of Kate's passing is so near. Kate was & is a beautiful little princess.  I've only seen photos of her but even with just that, I can see that she has a radiance/glow about her.  She was and is a very special little girl and my family and I will never forget her.  May you all find peace.

We learned about Kate from my parents in Thomasville about a year ago.  We have been following her story ever since.  She was a beautiful & amazing little girl. She had more courage than most people have in a full lifetime. My daughter Brooke always wanted to meet her so they could talk about Dora, Hannah Montana, & all the other things little girls love to talk about. We were so happy she got her princess bedroom before she passed. You & Kate will always be in our hearts, even though we have never met you. We hope your family is blessed knowing that Kate is watching over you from heaven. Her story makes us understand how precious life is & how much we should cherish it & love our family & friends.

May the Lord draw you near to him in the loss of your Precious Little Girl and know it's not goodbye but so long for now.  Know that one day those who are saved and know the Lord will see her again.  She was such a blessing to many...even those who she didn't know.

  I heard about your loss and my heart goes to you, Jarod and your whole family.  I remember you bringing your beautiful little Kate with you to Wesley Memorial to pick up Jarod from my classroom. Susan & Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Kate was & is a beautiful little Princess. Even though we didn't know Kate or the family personally, we knew her spirit. We do remember her from Brenner's but never got the chance to talk with each other. I remember the nurses telling us we had a new princess in the hall. We will always remember her pretty face.
