Lester Colman Small

Lester attended Farmer School as a young man. He later worked at Thomasville Furniture Industries for 40 years and was a member of Walter’s Grove Baptist Church.

Lester is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn Louise Small of the home,

Mother in law Mary Louise Small; five sister in laws Evelyn Small, Tammy Small, Sylvia McMillon and husband Ronnie, Joyce Jarrett and husband Tony, Kathy Bean and husband Mickey; two nieces Linda and Peggy Small, one beloved nephew, Michael Chad Potts and wife Tonya, two beloved nieces Stephanie Smith and husband Eric, Hannah Danze; four great nieces and nephews, Lexie, Carleigh, Samuel and Maxton. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Marie Tester, two brothers, Troy Small and Clarence Small, father in law Johnny Lonzie Small, two brother in laws Johnny Dean Small and Robert Gregory Small, one nephew Lee Small.

A funeral service led by Pastor Tim Gammons will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 18 Randolph Street, Thomasville, NC 27360 on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 am. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 10:00-10:45 at the funeral home.
