

Linda was born on July 18, 1947 in West Virginia to Joseph and Pauline Davis. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked for Cone Mills for many years. Linda especially enjoyed, painting, sewing, decorating cakes, and crafts. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she always decorated every room in her home. She also enjoyed traveling to the beach and the smell of the fresh salty air. Her grandchildren and family were the light of her life and she always enjoyed spending time with them. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Davis.
Survivors include her husband of over 50 years, Kenneth Biggs of the home; three sons, Kenny Biggs and wife Tammy, David Biggs and wife Jill, and Chris Biggs, and wife Ronda, all of Lexington; five grandchildren, Zachary Cox, Nikki Mathis, Kathryn Hunt, Corey Biggs, and Sidney Biggs; her father, Joseph Davis; two sisters, Sandra Bundy and Pam Thayer, both of Trinity; brother, Joseph Davis of Greensboro; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 11 am Friday in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street, with Rev. Brian Workman officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Thursday at Thomasville Funeral Home.
