

A resident of this area all of her life, Lois was born on October 6, 1932 in Davidson County to the late Ralph and Hilda Everhart Beam. Lois had worked for many years in the furniture industry and was a member of Meadowview Deliverance Tabernacle in Lexington. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husbands, Donald Redwine, John Crabb, and Ray Carpenter.
Surviving are her children, Hilda Moose and Husband Wayne of Lexington, Connie Hunt of Lexington, and Sherry Lowman of Lexington; nine grandchildren, Susan Cabe, Danyale Cabe, Clayton “Tater” Jones and his wife Angela, Curtis Alford, Marty Alford, Chris Alford, Travis Moose and his wife Meghan, Tyler Moose and his fiancé McKenzie Harrington, and Tabitha Moose-England and her husband Evan; twelve great grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Also surviving is her sister, Marcelene Harper and her husband Leroy of Thomasville; her brother, Larry beam of Midway; and two special friends, Debbie Daniels and Julie Wooleyhan.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Emma Milam officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery and other times at the home of Hilda Moose.
