A resident of this area most of her life Mrs. Nealey was born in Columbus County, NC to the late James Ellis and Gladys Leola Baldwin Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband of 59 years, Duckery Nealey of the home; daughters, Lany Nealey and Sarah Morgan, both of Thomasville; son, Sedric Nealey of Thomasville; granddaughter Angela Powers and her husband Jimmy; two great grandchildren, Addison Marie Powers and Blayton Cole Powers; and her brother, James Wright of Denton.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Sunday at Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Saturday at Thomasville Funeral Home.
