Rhonda Kay Carrick Coppley

A resident of this area all of her life, Rhonda was born on June 8, 1955 in Davidson County to Willie Lee and Elva Owens Carrick. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. Rhonda dedicated herself to taking care of her special needs daughter and her family. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Coppley in 2002.

Surviving are her children, Angel Pendergrass and her husband Max of Denton, Crystal Lambeth of the home, and Eric Lambeth and his wife Susan of Lexington; grandchildren, Kyle Absher and his wife Lindsey, Ryan Absher, Lydia Lambeth, and Olivia Lambeth; and one great grandchild, Ethan Absher. Also surviving are her mother, Elva Carrick of Lexington; sister, Vickie Ribelin and her husband Eddie of Lexington; and nephew, Kevin Ribelin and his wife Wendy and their daughters, Madyson, Miranda, and Kylee.

A celebration of Rhonda’s life will be held at 5 pm Tuesday, June 9th in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
