Shirley was born on June 18, 1935 in Georgia to the late Thomas Lee and Ruth Ann Scroggs. For many years, she had worked in furniture and later as a security guard. She loved talking on her C.B. and was affectionately known by her handle, “Tag Along”. She was also a member of Powerhouse of Faith Ministries.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her son, Shay Crane.
Surviving are her sons, Rev. Randall Nealey and wife Brenda and Anthony James Nealey; two grandchildren, Charles Anthony Nealey and wife Erin and Wesley James Nealey; and four great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, Nov. 9 in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
