Alice Shuk Kui Eng

Suddenly, on Tuesday February 5th, 2008, Alice passed quietly while engaged in one of her favourite pastimes of chatting on the phone with one of her loyal friends. Mrs. Alice Eng, beloved wife of 60 years to Hughes Eng. Loving mother to Ben, Margaret, Rose and Robert. Cherished grandmother "Popo" to David (Rachel), Heather, Elizabeth, Claire and Neil. She will be dearly missed by her son-in-laws Brad and Wayne and her daughter-in-law Julie. From very early on, her tinkering on the home piano inspired a multi-generational musical thread which connects all of the ones she loved and will continue on in her name, in support of future musical accomplishment. Valiant in the end and unwavering in her unconditional love.

Visitation will be held Saturday February 9th, from 4-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Sunday February 10th, 2008 at 11 o'clock. Interment, York Cemetery.
