Alvin passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 8, 2021, at 83 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Pauline, his beloved children, Alvin, Andrea, Paula, Wayne and Ann Marie, and his beloved grandchildren, Howard, Adama, Ajani, Joshua and Joel. Alvin is also survived by his mother Kathleen, and his sisters, Joyce and Pauline; as well as his brother-in-law Edward, husband of his deceased sister, Edna. Alvin was part of a large extended family and had many enduring friendships. He will be fondly remembered for his love of music, football, and spending time with family and friends. Alvin will be greatly missed by all of his many family and his many friends. A private funeral service will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home in Thornhill.
