1943 - 2007
Peacefully, with his loving family at his side, on Sunday December 9th, 2007 at Headwaters Health Care Centre - Orangeville Site in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Nancy for over 40 years. Loving father of Christopher. Cherished grandfather of Penelope. Devoted son of Maiga and pre-deceased by his father Janis Petersons. Survived by his dear brother Martin (Catherine) and predeceased by his loving sisters Mara and Ilga. Andy will be missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, extended family and countless friends.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 12th from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday December 13th, from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's Latvian Lutheran Church (383 Jarvis Street), on Friday, December 14th, 2007 at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Headwaters Health Care - Orangeville Site.
