Ann Kane

Peacefully, on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at North York General Hospital, in her 95th year, after a brief illness. Predeceased by her sister Gerry of Toronto, ON. and her brother Dan of Windsor, ON. She will be mourned by her sisters Margaret Dobie of Owen Sound, ON. and Louise Gorman of Antigonish, NS. and her brother Bill of Gatineau, QC. Also, her eldest niece and devoted confident, Donna-Marie Jacks as well as many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, to whom she was fondly known as Auntie Ann, and a multitude of friends. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Blessed Trinity Church (3220 Bayview Avenue, North York) on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10:30 am. Visitation one hour prior to the liturgy. Memory-sharing gathering of family and friends to follow. Private burial in the Kane family plot in Quebec City. At Ann's request, donations may be made to the MISSIONARY SISTERS of the PRECIOUS BLOOD, ST. BERNARD'S RESIDENCE (685 Finch Avenue West, North York, ON, M2R 1P2) where Gerry and Ann had made their home since 2004.
