Anna De Ciantis

Peacefully, at Toronto General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, God called her home on May 6, 2013.

Deeply devoted to her faith and her family. She demonstrated intense zeal for life in all that she did, always living life according to her principles and values, a wonderful example to her family.

Beloved wife of the late Domenico. Loving mother of Tony (Karen) and Ciro (Paola). Cherished by her seven grandchildren; Anthony, Anne, Danielle, Michael, Stephen, Alex and Natalie. Family life was celebrated every Sunday afternoon with food prepared by her generous hands. Nothing gave her more joy than being surrounded by her family.

She is also survived by her sister Giulia in Italy. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and other family in Canada and Italy.

Friends may call on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and

Thursday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon R.C. Church (92 Steeles Avenue West). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
