(nee Martin)-(Retired from K-Mart 1996)- Suddenly, on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at the age of 70, at Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Michael Hogan. Loving mother of Donald and wife Ellen, Betty Anne, Sharon and husband Gregg, Deborah and husband Stephen. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Amanda, Daniel, Jimmy, Samantha, David, Michael, Jennifer and Jordan. Gladys will be greatly missed by brother Gerald and sisters Violet and Mamie, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 6 to 9 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
