It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother after a courageous battle on Saturday, October 29, 2011 with her family by her side at Baycrest Hospital at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late Luigi. Beloved mother of the late Albino, his wife Irene, Rosaly and her husband Emilio Celotti, Gianni and his wife Maria, and Rony and his wife Anna. Adored and cherished Nonna of Jean-Paul, Michael, Christianne (Joseph), Daniel, Deanna (Jeffrey), Natalie (Allan), Pierluigi, Monica, Dante, and Marco. Dear sister of Ausiliatrice, Bruna, Valentina, Gino, and Giuseppe, and their spouses. Assunta will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all of her nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 31st from 2-4 p.m. and Tuesday, November 1st from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Avenue West). Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
