Basil James McCormick

Passed away peacefully, on December 20th. Beloved son of the late Sarah and James McCormick; and brother to Norah Maugeri (Dr. George), Maureen Wigglesworth (the late Leo), Sheila O'Brien (Dr. Dennis) and the late Celestine McCormick. Basil will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the staff at Isabel and Arthur Meighen Manor for their care of Basil especially during his final days. Basil was an accomplished organist, playing at many churches in the Toronto area throughout his life. He also spent many years as an international educator making a difference in the lives of young people. His memory will live on in the people whose lives he touched during his lifetime.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Church, 3220 Bayview Avenue, North York.
