Cardiff A. ("Todd") Olsen died peacefully on Friday, January 22nd, 2016 just short of his 100th birthday. He met the last months of his life as he lived, with reason, acceptance, humour and dignity. As a CPA/CA he worked for BA Oil/Gulf Canada from 1947 to 1980. He was a life long learner his interests included science, nature, opera and current events. He enjoyed his home, travel and his gazebo overlooking Whipple's beautiful garden. Todd was a gentleman of the old school, intelligent, practical and appreciative with a charming wit.
Dearly loved father of Elizabeth. Beloved spouse of the late Whipple Steinkrauss. He was predeceased by his parents, Martha and H. William Olson; brother, Manfred and sister, Mabell “Betty”. There will be a Celebration of Todd's life on Sunday afternoon, March 20th.
Memorial donations may be made in Cardiff's name to The Salvation Army Isabel and Arthur Meighen Manor or Second Harvest.
