Charles Joseph Fisher

Peacefully, on Wednesday August 13th, 2008 at Ross Memorial Hospital, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Powers) for 53 years. Loving father of Charlene (pre-deceased), Charlie and wife Carol, Minnie and husband Butch, John, Kathy and husband Chris, Dawn and husband Al, Bill and wife Jackie, Edie and husband Paul and Lori. Cherished "Poppy" to Antoinetta, Josh, Chantel, Justin, Randy, Stuart, Matthew, Wesley, Emily, Rhiannon, Dylan, Shawna, James, Charlene, Taylor, Holly, Mason, Krystyn and Cordelia and great grandchildren Hailey and Hunter. Loving son of the late Harold and Elizabeth Fisher. Survived by his dear sister Ina Woods and predeceased by his sister Jean Fisher. Charlie will be missed and lovingly remebered by his many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well his extended family and many friends.

Friends may visit on Saturday, August 16, from 4-6 p.m. and Sunday, August 17, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Monday, August 18, 2008 at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital - Dialysis Unit.
