Passed away peacefully on Monday October 20th 2014 on what would have been her 67th wedding anniversary with her beloved husband the late John Lyall (1997). Christabel and John met in Benghazi, North Africa when she was working as a Nursing Sister and he as a Captain in the British Army. She will be remembered by her two children John (Marina) and Richard (Lorie), grandchildren John (Jen), Jeffrey (Jenny), Matthew, Scott, and David, and survived by her sister Florence. Family and friends will be received at the Jerrett Funeral Home “Vaughan Chapel” (8088 Yonge St. Thornhill), on Thursday October 23, 2014, from 10 am to 11 am, followed by a service in the chapel at 11 am. Donations in memory of Christabel can be made to Valleyview Long Term Residence.
