It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom & Gran on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Christina was the loving and much loved wife of Gordon, who predeceased her on January 13, 1995. She is and always will be, the beloved and cherished Mom to Susan "Liza", Rhonda & her husband Dave Purdie and Lynn & her husband Chris Watson. She adored and was so very proud of her 5 grandchildren; Danielle, Christina & Natalie Watson and Ben & Meghan Purdie, and her great-grandson Julian, all of whom loved their Gran deeply.
We would like to thank the incredible nurses and PSW's at Allendale Long Term Care for the kindness and compassion which was extended to our Mom.
Our Mom was truly a special lady and she will be missed more than words can say. Chris was an avid sports fan and loved supporting her Toronto teams.
As per our Mom's wishes, a private family service will be held. Mom held a special place in her heart for children and animals so, in lieu of flowers, and in her memory please consider donating to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada or the Toronto Humane Society.
