REYNOLDS, Clifford (D.S.S., M.Sc.-Univ. of Toronto Class of '42)-After a courageous battle with diabetes and heart disease, Dr. Reynolds, at the age of 83, passed away on February 8th, 2003, surrounded by his wife Thelma (nee McGowan), sons Patrick, Michael, Randy and Tim, and daughter Candace (Bryson). He is predeceased by his parents Reginald and Norma (nee Johnson) and his youngest son Richard. As a W.W.II Veteran (Cdn. Legion, Branch 66), Oral Health editorial board member, and well loved husband, father and uncle, he will be sadly missed by daughters-in-law Jane and Ella, son-in-law David, grandchildren Kristen, Michael, Shannon, Carlee and Lauren. His family will fondly remember trips to Florida and beyond, Muskoka summers and winters snowmobiling. Recollections and memories of family stationwagons packed to the hilt with kids and possessions, a Dad ('Pere') with a pipe, and later, a captain's cap, who always said little after those same family wagons were repeatedly dented or totalled, will be long cherished. Visitation with the family will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Tuesday, February 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service celebrating his life and legacy will be held at the Anglican Church of the Annunciation (157 Florence Avenue, North York), on Wednesday, February 12th at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the family plot in York Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association are respectively welcome in remembrance.
