It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Jeffrey Smith on Friday May 21st, at age 34. David brought many gifts to those who knew him, and has left us far too soon. He leaves behind his mother Donna-Dale, father Don and his wife Mary-Ann, brother Steven (Claire), sister Carolyn, and step-siblings Kathleen, Margaret (Peter) and Martin (Lan). David will be missed by his large extended family, his many friends and his colleagues. Please join us for the visitation from 2-4 and/or 7-9 p.m. on Thursday May 27th, 2010 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), and the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 p.m. on Friday May 28th. Cremation will have already taken place. For those who wish, donations may be made in David's name to Habitat for Humanity Canada, or to a charity of your choice.
