Cousin Sandy Clanton in Kansas wrote this poem: Deidre Hair like sunshine, Eyes colored by the sky, Dancing on the cloud tops, Singing poems of rain, Laughing gently in each breeze. Not enough time did we get to spend together A moment here An hour there A few days of her short life like the universe more space than stars more darkness than light. Yet it is the light we remember, It is the smiles and touches that won't let us go on without a tribute. To all the good that we saw in her, To all the potential that shone through shyness and pain, To the new voids where she would have been.

I am so sorry I was not able to attend the services today. I felt that I needed to be there, and was not able to make it happen. I would like the family to know how much Dee ment to me, to go to work every day was fun because Dee would always make me laugh, Just the smile on her face ment alot to me. She was well liked and cared for at Mulcaster and will be very much missed. It was a blessing to have had the chance to know and care for her in her moment of need. She loved her family and never stopped talking about her children, and could not wait for the next visit. I wanted the family to know how much they ment to her, but I do not think that words could express as much as. I am sorry for our loss and will deeply miss Dee, She will ever hold a spot in my heart. Dear Girls: Your Mom was a great lady who loved you with all her heart. She talked about you all the time. I know you are hurting but remember that your Mom will guild you through the hard time and will smile with you in the good times. I miss her so much she was my friend, and I can't believe this happened. I did your Mom's hair on Thursday and she was laughing so hard the residents came to see what was happening.
