Deirdre passed peacefully with family by her side, after a long battle with dementia on May 1, 2025, at Mackenzie Health Hospital. She is survived by her children Ronan and Shaun. She is also survived by her brother Eugene O'Rourke of London England.
Deirdre is pre-deceased and rejoins in eternal life with her parents Patrick Joseph and Mary Margaret O'Rourke and her husband of thirty-eight years Frank Brennan.
Deirdre will be remembered as a loving mother who was devoted to family and loved every minute she spent with them. She will be remembered for her commitment to her church, fellow parishioners, and friends.
The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Mackenzie Hospital and her physician Dr. Lydia Cheung for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held on Thursday May 15th from 6-8pm.
Funeral services will take place on Friday May 16th at 10:30 at Good Shepherd Parish.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Deirdre’s name.
