Peacefully at the Scarborough Centenary Hospital on Sunday, October 11, 2009. Dear brother of Alan(Nicole) of Cornwall, nephews Stephen(Linda) of Toronto and Jeffrey(Heather) of Surrey, B.C., nieces Carolyn(Gary Whalen) of Port Coquitlam, B.C. and Chantal(Matthew Ellis) of Ottawa. Predeceased by his parents Herbert George and Gertrude, and elder brother Bert(Joan). Will be missed by several cousins, grand nieces, grand nephew and close friends. Friends may call on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 12 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment at Twelve Mile Lake Cemetery, Minden on Monday October 19th at 12 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
