TIGHE, Donalda "Mac" (nee MacDonald) - Born in Biggar, Saskatchewan on December 10, 1926, died in Toronto, Ontario on January 5, 2014 at St. Michael's Hospital. Daughter of the late Donald Daniel MacDonald and Catherine Christina Edge. Beloved wife of the late John Clifford (Jack) Tighe. Loving mother of Wendy (Wally Cherwinski) of Ottawa, Stephen of Calgary and Tracie of Toronto. Dear grandmother of Candace, John, Andrei and Ivan and great-grandmother of Jasmine, Alexandra and Aubrey. Also survived by her brother Glen of Spirit River, Alberta. Donalda served proudly in the Canadian Women's Army Corps during the Second World War, worked at DuPont for 27 years, and volunteered with the Rideaucrest Auxiliary. She was an accomplished cook, baker and seamstress and took great delight in her family and wide circle of friends. A Celebration of Donalda's Life will be held on January 24, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 Counter Street, Kingston, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy
