My deepest condolences to you, Adele and Wanda and the rest of the families, on the passing of Donna.

My deepest condolences to Mike and the girls, with the passing of Donna. I didn’t know Donna as well as my brother Paul did, but the times that we were together, hold special meaning to myself and my family. She came to our special family occasions, weddings, anniversaries and yes even funerals, as a guest of my brother Paul. She was warm and caring, showing genuine concern, interest and happiness, depending on the circumstance. Her presence was always enjoyed and appreciated by the Ward family. After reading her condolences, I see that Donna touched the lives of many people throughout her life. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have that kind of impact on the people around them. She will be greatly missed by many, including the Ward family members.

Your love for God through your beautiful voice during our praise and worship will last forever in our hearts. You shall always be remembered because you are special by the way you have touched many lives through your faith and act of kindness. You will be missed dearly Donna...may your soul rest in peace.

Donna was such a caring, kind, dynamic teacher who brought so much joy and energy to every situation she was in.  I thoroughly enjoyed working with her at St. Patrick School for many years and I know that not only did she touch the lives of hundreds of children but those of us who were lucky enough to work with her as well.  Her energy filled the halls and classrooms wherever she went and she will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to all of you.


Dear Mike and Family,

I was so very saddened to hear of Donna's passing on Thursday.  She was an exceptionally gifted teacher,mentor and person, and touched so many lives in so many ways.  Her students at Humber College would so frequently comment on her ability as a teacher to make them feel comfortable, supported and ultimately more successful.

She will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure to learn with and from her.

I worked with Donna at Mary Ward many years ago and was a fellow parishioner with her at St. Pat's in Markham. Though I have not seen Donna in a few years, I just want to pass on my condolences on her passing.  She was a wonderful strong caring woman with whom I shared many heartfelt conversations. Dear Michael and girls,
    As is everyone, we are shocked and saddened. Donna was Phil's student and spoke so well at his birthday party. I taught with her and remember her saying that as a girl she studied French in the closet so she wouldn't waken her sister. We have such beautiful memories of this lovely woman. Donna was a wonderful teacher, person, employer and friend.  She gave me my first job taking care of her own little ones when Alissa was newly born.  It was great to be able to make the leap from teacher/student to peers and chat with her during those days. All that experience must have paid off too for I now have four little ones of my own and teach at an elementary school. Donna was always so supportive of my music and I continue to love to sing to this day.

Thank you, Donna, for having been a part of my life.
