It is with great sadness that we announce Edith Anna Moore’s passing on Tuesday November 9, 2021 at Sunnybrook Hospital – Palliative Care Unit. Beloved wife and best friend of Michael, proud, loving, and devoted mother of Michelle and Melissa. She will also be missed by many other family and friends.
Edith was an educational assistant at Cedarvale Community School where she was deeply beloved by her students. She loved theatre and travelling with her family. Edith will be remembered most for her love and devotion to her family and her love for furry friends.
The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the Palliative Care Team at Sunnybrook Hospital for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge Street in Thornhill, on Saturday November 20, 2021 from 1-3 pm. Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor funeral services for those age 12 and older. Masks are required. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 20, 2021 at 3 pm, at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edith’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Toronto Humane Society.
